Transition Gloucester is an initiative working to make Gloucester a better place to live, facing the twin pressures of Peak Oil and Climate Change.
We are the local branch of the Transition Town movement taking positive steps together to make the transition to a low carbon future.
Saturday 15th June Bike Ride
This year we used the bike ride to highlight problems and dangers for cyclists in Gloucester.
We took photographs of examples of cycling danger spots, and of the good routes too.
We started with a picnic with the ducks in Barnwood Park,
and ended with a cup of tea at Peppers Cafein town.
Photos coming here soon.
“A Vision for Gloucester in 2030”
What’s your vision for a flourishing and sustainable Gloucester in 2030?
What needs to happen so that Gloucester can respond positively
to the challenges of Peak Oil and Climate Change?
We held a public forum at Gloucester Resource Centre, City Works in November
to dream our dreams and plan how to turn these dreams into reality.
